Personal Injury

Have you been injured due to the fault of another party?

You may be entitled to compensation. Come in for a no obligation, free consultation with our team. Our fees are on a contingency basis. What does this mean? We only get paid if we settle or win your case.

Below is a list of the types of injury cases we handle.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

If you have been involved in a car accident it’s important to do certain things to help us develop your case:

  1. Seek immediate medical assistance if you are injured in anyway as a result of the accident. Certain injuries may not develop until sometime after the initial accident. It’s important to seek the attention of your primary care physician or medical provider right away.
  2. Retrieve information with the other people involved, including names, telephone numbers, insurance company information including policy names and numbers and license plate numbers.
  3. Retrieve a copy of the police report. Remember to only give accurate facts regarding the accident as these statements may be used against you in future litigation.
  4. If possible, try to obtain pictures of the scene and the vehicle after the accident.
  5. Contact Pazzaglia Law, LLC. Don’t make any statements to the insurance company. Insurance companies interests are adverse to yours in an accident claim and they will attempt to minimize the impact of the accident and obtain statements that can be used against you.

Our firm understands that this can be a very stressful time for individuals and families. Most of the time, your initial goals after going through such an unfortunate event is to not suffer financially through lost wages and have your medical bills paid for. Further, that your auto and/or health insurance company will pay for treatment related to your injury and that the responsible party is ultimately held accountable for your injuries and associated damages that you may be entitled to. Call us for your free, no obligation consultation so we can explain how we will do this and how accident cases work in the State of Connecticut.

  • Slips and falls
  • Product liability
  • Medical malpractice
  • Dog bites
  • Motorcycle accidents

Workers Compensation

Have you been injured at work?

The workers compensation act is designed to provide injured workers financial and medical support to get better and get back to work. Workers compensation claims also involve insurance adjusters and attorneys who often times try to minimize the benefits that you’re entitled to or deny any benefits at all. Our firm stands up for the rights and benefits that you may be entitled to. Workers compensation claims are handled on a contingency basis. Thus, it doesn’t cost you anything until we are able to get you certain benefits or settle your workers compensation claim.

If you have been injured at work make sure you do the following:

  1. Report your injury or illness to your employer as soon as possible.
  2. Seek medical care.
  3. File a Notice of Claim for Compensation. You are responsible for filing your claim with the Worker’s Compensation Commission in the district which you reside. Form 30C must be filed within one year from the date of your injury unless you suffer from an occupational disease.
  4. Contact Pazzaglia Law, LLC. Come in for your no obligation free consultation so we can discuss benefits you may be entitled to.
